We are very excited to announce we are partnering with Indiana University of Pennsylvania to offer you RipFest Summer Camp…in Pennsylvania. We will be offering a five-day camp August 5-9.

  • 1:8 coach to athlete ratio

MEET THE COACHES

  • JOHN WINGFIELD

    John V. Wingfield has degrees in Management Information Systems BS, Health & Physical Education BS, as well as a Master’s in Sports Sciences MS, from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Wingfield was a faculty member in the school of Physical Education and diving coach at Ball State University from 1988 to 1998.

    Wingfield served as Director and Coach of the National Training Center from 1998 to 2012. In 2013 he acquired Indiana Diving Academy/Ripfest and serves as the CEO and head coach.

    Wingfield, a three time Olympic coach has been key in developing divers in the junior ranks. In 2009 his athletes won 8 Junior National titles and 9 Junior Pan Am Championships medals including 5 Gold medals. His junior divers have secured 2 junior world championship gold medals, 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal. Wingfield’s long term athlete development program has produced 14 Olympic divers in his 38 years of coaching. These divers have amassed 8 Olympics medals (1 gold, 6 silver and 1 bronze) over their careers.
