Ripfest is always looking for people to help out in various areas of our annual and camp programs. Below are a list of available openings.
REGISTERED NURSE:
Are you a Registered Nurse and also have a child coming to camp? We would love to have you at camp!
Please contact our Director of Operations to inquire about the position.
Digital Media Intern:
Applications will be accepted beginning January 1st through April 1
Internship Length: 12 weeks
Intern will receive free housing, food, and dive training
Intern must be able to move onsite by May 22
Internship through August 16 (willing to negotiate week 12 of camp)
Intern will work check in on Sunday afternoon through evening activities and Monday through Friday at check out
Criteria included but not limited to:
• Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
• Create and edit weekly recap videos and reels and post on media platforms
• Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
• Perform social media marketing research
• Create social media marketing campaign for post camp
• Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms
• Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
• Write social media captions that speak to the RipFest’s target audience
• Develop new strategies for increasing engagement
• Assist with photo/video content shoots
• Ensure brand message is consistent
Summer Camp Counselor:
Applications will be accepted beginning January 1st- April 1st
RipFest is seeking energetic, accountable camp counselors to provide a safe and memorable experience for our campers. Camp counselors are responsible for assigned groups for the duration of their stay. Duties include, but are not limited to, monitoring meals, overseeing transitions to practices, and facilitating and participating in group activities. The ideal candidate will be an excellent multitasker with a genuine passion for working with and empowering young people. Applicants should be patient, fun-loving and confident in their ability to motivate and assist campers in everything from learning new skills to working through homesickness.
RipFest counselors train every day during camp.
Criteria included but not limited to:
Be 18-24 years of age
Collegiate diver
Enjoy working with kids
Be a positive influence and role model
Be accountable
Perform well under stress
First-Aid/CPR certifIcation strongly encouraged
Excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution
