Each year we have a lot of college coaches who ask about potential divers for their programs and a lot of divers who want to know the best time to be seen by college coaches to be recruited. This year we have decided to make it easier for everyone. We wanted to have two weeks where coaches could come and watch athletes along where athletes are able to work on getting prepared for college and to be seen by college coaches.

These two weeks are also open to divers of any age and skill level. If the divers are not interested in working towards their college list or the recruiting process we will run camp as normal and make sure that they get the most out of it. We just encourage those coaches and athletes who would like help with the recruiting process to at least join us for those two weeks.

College Preparation and Planning Weeks   When: Weeks 5 (6/25-6/30) and Week 6 (7/2-7/7) of summer camp   Where: RipFest Diving Camp   Who: Any high school divers who want to be seen by collegiate coaches, learn about the recruiting process or prepare their lists to be competitive in college. Along with any college coaches who are looking to find talented divers from all over the world.   What: RipFest diving camp is offering two weeks of college preparation and recruiting for athletes and coaches. We have so many incredibly talented athletes that come to our camps and want to dive in college. Some do not know how to get their names out there, some do not understand the recruiting process and some simply need to make sure they have a 6th optional for when they compete in college.  We also constantly get asked by college coaches about our athletes. So what better way to learn about the divers than meet them in person and watch them dive along with their work ethic.   Week 5 Preparation and Perfection: During week 5 of camp (6/25-6/30) we will be focusing on teaching high school athletes of recruitable age about the recruiting process, how to get seen, how to communicate with coaches, NCAA Rules and Regulations along with helping divers master the list they will need to be competitive in collegiate diving. Divers will need to compete 6 optionals in college but often times they get to school without a 6th dive in their list. We will be focusing on the athletes strengths and weaknesses to help them come up with 6 competitive dives they can be proud to compete and show college coaches.   Week 6 Evaluation, Assessment, Recruiting: During week 6 of camp (7/2-7/7) we will be inviting collegiate coaches from all over the country to come to our camp to get to watch all of the divers in person, where they will be able to evaluate and assess the divers on skill, talent, ability, attitude, work ethic, motivation and whatever else they find important to them. Then we will be giving each college coach time to talk about their universities, meet with the athletes and talk to them about the benefits of their school.   We are looking forward to helping athletes andcoaches with the recruiting process to give them the best possible team and future! For any additional questions please contact Kate@ripfest.net   All other athletes are still welcome those weeks as well!
